Otisville
I’m up at my grandparents’ house in Otisville...(sp?)
Anyways, I was surprised to find that my cousin is here as well, for nobody told me. So, now I’m here, it’s late at night and my brain was unwilling to think up a small tidbit or story....I have managed to grasp an idea, but I need a little bit of time to figure out what I’m trying to get at. Usually, I start with a sentence and go from there, but right now I don’t have anything but a vague idea of something....Yeah....Naming is fun, though. Which I will be glad to do once I actually type something up. Hey...Another thing....Critisizing is MORE than welcome! Please critisize...I’d love it...Or post a comment, that would be appreciated, even if all it says is “DUDE!!! I’m getting a Dell!” Yeah, yeah, I know, cliche and stupid. Still, it would be welcome...Even to know something like that....lol
Yeah, can you tell I’m bored and kinda hyper...Well, if not, I am...So...Yeah...Oh, oh...Guess what? I’ve finally CRACKED!!! I’ve had the first Ronin Warriors/Yoroiden Samurai Troopers DVD for two years....And I really want to get the next few....It’s killing me! Anyhow, I’d best get going for now.
The Unknown
The scream echoed in the surrounding stillness. The boy turned, ready to run back, yet the other grabbed his wrist and kept running. There was no way he was going to go back there now. Though the scream had been silenced, it rang throughout the forestry still.
The taller, darker figure kept the boy running. It was as if he was being forced to run a marathon. He couldn’t do this. Why did they leave her? About to voice these thoughts, he instead froze. The other figure jerked him onwards. They couldn’t stop now or they’d be caught. That was not on the agenda, either. A sorrowful howl pierced Juli’s frightened brain and he almost veered off in that direction. He couldn’t go that way, though he longed to do so. He longed to return to the wild. Yet, Dragia was not about to let go of his wrist. He stumbled and fell, Dragia just dragged him onwards until the boy found his feet once more.
Juli stared at the shadows around them. No. Not shadows. They were anything but shadows. Though they were made of shadow. He shivered, he knew they hadn’t much of a chance if those things decided to attack. It wasn’t like last time. They were alone, just the two of them. They would be submerged in darkness for the rest of their lives. He wouldn’t be able to stand that, he’d kill himself.
Dragia’s ruthless jerk of his arm brought Juli back to his senses. No time to be thinking of the cursed creatures right now, they had to keep moving. Juli saw what he thought were stars, wait...Stars? What was going on? One moment, he’d been running jerked by Dragia, the next, he was on the ground seeing stars? Something wasn’t right....
Juli stumbled to his feet and tried to discern where Dragia was. Ok, now there was definitely something wrong. Juli didn’t sense the older man, he didn’t smell him. He didn’t even hear him. The boy shivered again. He was only 16, this shouldn’t be happening. He felt something coming at him before it connected. He attempted to duck, to block, anything, but he failed. He slammed into the tree behind him.
The boy got up again, stumbling, dazed. ‘What was that?’
He looked around again, yet his eyes could not penetrate the darkness. It was absolute, no light would ever reach him if he did not manage to get out again. He froze and listened. No wolves, no nothing. He backed away, eyes wide in fear.
Juli lost his nerve and turned tail and ran, not knowing what direction he was running in. He stumbled and fell, scraping his knees. Yet, he picked himself up and kept going. ‘Must keep going. C’mon, stupid...You’ve got to get out of here....I should have known this was a bad idea, never should have followed that cursed Dragia...’
Juli fell again, but just lay there. Where could he go anyway? No where. He wouldn’t be able to get out, Dragia had told him this. Yet, he hadn’t listened much at the time. He’d waved it off as silly. Now, he wished he’d paid more attention. His ears caught a sound. ‘Dragia?’
He turned slowly pulling himself to his feet once more, peering uselessly into the darkness once more. “Dragia? Where are you?”
An unearthly screech was his answer. He whirled around again and ran cursing himself. How stupid of him. It knew where he was now. If it caught him, he deserved it. Something caught around his ankles and with a cry he fell....
A lone wolf howled its sorrow, Dragia sighed. Why couldn’t that boy have listened?
Cedar Point
I went to Cedar Point last week! Sorry I haven’t posted! Anyways, it was great. We went on a bunch of the rides. Though, I cannot say we went on the Mantis or anything, it was more fun, I think. Because, if we’d gone on the bigger rides, we would have spent the better part of our day at Cedar Point waiting in line for 2 hours or so at a time. That would have gotten annoying after three or four rides…
Anyways, we went on Demon Drop, Blue Streak, Ocean Motion, and a some that I can’t remember the names of....Oh, Disaster Transport! We also went on one of the water rides. I got soaked. I went with Bob and his two nieces. We had lots and lots of fun.....Yeah...Me brain has died. I just finished watching Inu-Yasha, so my brain’s a little fried.
Watching Inu-Yasha and them promptly trying to talk about Cedar Point? No, doesn’t go together, not at all....A few days ago, when Chris and I were talking on the phone, we were making plans already to go to CP next summer. Aren’t we silly? Yes, you are and you know it Tofa! So keep your mouth shut!
Today has been a fun day, I’ll leave it at that for now.
Finally! It has COME!!!
YAY!!! It’s finally come to a book store near you! Today, Harry Potter came out. Today, we received our copy of Harry Potter in the mail. Today, I worship books. No, no just kidding on that last part. Anyways. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has finally come out. Can you believe it? Can I believe it? Well, of course I can’t believe it, but you can.
I’m so excited I was doing a happy dance. Well, not exactly, but I was a few minutes ago. Right now, the precious book lays on the bed beside me. I’ve been waiting since the last book ended to get this one. Now, how do I make this one drag out for four to five years? Hmmm. That’s a tough question. But I now decree that my goal of the summer is to finish Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince before the school year begins. Otherwise I will most likely be the only one whom doesn’t know what people are talking about, at least, when they talk about Harry Potter. Other than that, I don’t really care if I know what people are talking about. Unless I need to care.
I’m going to go tell all my friends I got the book, now....Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Bookies!!! It’s mine, I tell you, all MINE!!!!
