Tomorrow
I’m scared stiff of Tomorrow. Monday, January 30, 2006, for I will finally be starting at Pickney High School. I think one of the hardest things is switching train of thoughts. When I see PHS I still think Plymouth High School, not Pickney High School. And I’ve been joking with my friends from P-CEP about my switching from being a Rock to being a Pirate.
I’m actually terrified though. Pickney’s ways are so alien compared to what P-CEP was like. For instance, Pickney students don’t carry their backpacks to every class. In P-CEP that was mandatory. The amount of time between classes is shorter too. One of the pluses? My locker is HUGE compared to my Salem locker.
Yet, all that is nothing compared to the bouts of loneliness I’ve been experiencing in the past week. It’s going to get worse in the mornings and at lunch. I can only hope I don’t start crying. I’m really going to miss my strange lunches with my girl friends. And my funny breakfast times in the morning with any number of friends that managed to make it.
This is totally alien grounds I’m walking on now. Before, though I was afraid of graduation from Middle School, I knew, even though I didn’t exactly show it, that I would still be near my friends. I mean, I was riding the same bus, so I was bound to see someone I knew everyday. Yet, this time, everything is alien. So, I feel my fears are justified. I won’t have any of my best friends there to fall on this time, and that seriously frightens me. I’ve been told I will adjust and make friends quickly, and though that may be true, it won’t be the same. I had good friends back in P-CEP that I’d kept in touch with from the beginning of 4th grade. Now I’m starting anew.
I know I’m gonna miss walking across the grounds in a hurry, freezing to death, to get to my classes in Plymouth after lunch. Although, I always did complain about it. And the closeness of the three schools. Yet, like everyone’s said. I’ll adjust. It’s just a scary change. Well, I’ll see if I have the energy to get on tomorrow after school or something.
Post info
I’ve been putting up posts from gaia...The last two posts? The ones with Rowen, Cye and Quatre? I’m in a literate thread on Gaia. And my characters: Which I do not own, thanks. Anyways, my characters have not yet interacted with any of the others players’ charries. So I thought I’d put these up. See what I got in return.
Quatre Raberba Winner is from Gundam Wing and is NOT in anyway mine.
Rowen (Touma) Hashiba and Cye (Shin) Mouris are from Ronin Warriors/Yoroiden Samurai Troopers and are not mine…
Just thought I’d put up a disclaimer, besides, I’m only borrowing them for a thread....Thank you!
Continuation
Quatre jumped, hearing two people’s voices. “Ano...” He didn’t think he should move, but remembered that he wasn’t going to disappear again. Shrugging lightly, the blonde picked himself up, scanning the shelves again. Nothing new, no distortion. He was still in this odd little library.
Nodding to himself, he slowly crept out of his little aisle. Making it to the main aisle with no disruptions or attacks, the Pilot blinked. He gripped a shelf and swung himself around. To look right into the faces of two other teens. He analyzed their startled faces, taking information and storing it away for later use.
They were around his age, and they looked rather like they were still coming to terms that they were in a library. As if...As if they hadn’t been there originally. He tilted his head in thought.
Rowen raised one slender eyebrow at the intruder. The other teen was analyzing them, which he had a right to do, the archer supposed. It wasn’t everyday that two teens randomly appeared in someone’s library.
Taking another look at the blonde, the blue haired teen blinked. No, this blonde did not look like he was startled to find them in his library. Not at all, he looked more like he had appeared in near the same fashion. Which confused Rowen, that meant that there had been no blow up of experiments, unless there had been and it had just thrown the three teens into some weirdo pyschopath’s house?
The lanky teen shuddered at the thought. No, he sure as hell hoped that that hadn’t happened. Besides, wouldn’t they want all of the Ronins? And why would this blonde be wanted? Frowning, he delved deeper into his own mind and came up with absolutely nothing.
Sighing, Rowen pushed himself to his feet and offered Cye a hand.
Cye had been busy studying the blonde, having realised it was not possible for the other teen to be the library’s owner. The blonde did not look the type to leave his library in such disarray. Much like the archer Torrent was stuck with.
Blinking at the proffered hand, Cye hesitated for a moment before taking it. He experienced a moment of dizziness and double vision. He saw the kitchen as it had been just before he disappeared and shuddered. The vision faded and the auburn haired teen was once again faced with the cluttered libary. He spotted Strata’s inquiring look and shrugged it off as nothing.
Yet, Torrent wondered. He wondered what would happen if the kitchen caught fire? Would Ryo be able to stop it? Or was it possible that Kento had already discovered Cye to be missing and thought it odd? His brain couldn’t handle the onslaught of questions, so it shoved them to the back of his mind, to be analyzed and answered later.
The water loving warrior turned his attention to his companion and the blonde stranger. “Well, I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Cye Mouri...And this is Rowen Hashiba. May we have the pleasure of your name?”
Rowen rolled his eyes. He could introduced himself, thank you very much. Yet, he did appreciate Cye taking the iniciative. If Strata had been left to his own devices he would have squandered politeness. And the archer knew it.
Quatre’s mind was interrupted by the auburn haired teen’s words. He shook his head to clear it and looked up. His blue eyes gentled.
“My name is Quatre Raberba Winner. The pleasure it mine, Mouri-san.” He nodded to the blue haired one. “Hashiba-san?”
Cye shook his head. “You need not be so formal Winner-san. Please call us Cye and Rowen..”
Rowen grinned. “Since I haven’t yet spoken, I shall take the chance to do so now. We’re stuck in a library Cye and I have no idea where we are and, from the looks of things, you don’t know where you are either. So, what do you say, we leave and figure it out for ourselves?”
Quatre nodded in acknowledgement to Cye. “Cye and Rowen it shall be, then. If we’re not to be formal then I shall have to ask that you call me Quatre.” He smiled. “It’s only fair...”
His attention was yanked away from the smaller of the two teens and given to the taller, Rowen. “I agree with you, Rowen, it would be a good idea for us to get out of here.”
Cye nodded, trying the blonde’s name. “Quatre...Quite an interesting name you have...”
Rowen chuckled. “Yes, well I suppose we have interesting names as well, Cye...” He lead the way out of the little aisle and to the main one. “Now, which way to get out of this little library, do you think?”
Random….
Quatre pondered his whereabouts. He had just randomly appeared in a household he knew nothing about and it rather frightened the gentle Gundam Pilot. He didn’t like the thought of disappearing and reappearing at random. Yet, when it did not occur again, he allowed himself to relax.
Light blue eyes scanned the room he was in and he blinked. He was in a library. It was extremely cluttered, absolutely ever nook and cranny crammed with some sort of book. He studied the shelves before him more closely, noticing they withheld titles he recognized.
So, perhaps he had just bumped his head? No, that wasn’t posible, because he hadn’t been in the library of his home. That proved a problem.
Rowen opened his midnight eyes and saw his heaven. A library, cluttered, but cozy. The young Ronin found himself propped up against a bookshelf, books jutting into his back. He blinked at the sight of Cye curled up nearby.
“Hey...Cye?” Frowning, Strata reached over and shook his friend, who mumbled something incoherently.
The bluehaired boy rolled his eyes. “I’m supposed to be the one who won’t wake up. Now come on..” He shook his friend a little harder.
Cye opened his eyes. “I’m awake...Now, please stop shaking me.” When the taller teen stopped, Torrent sat up.
He leaned back against the bookshelf behind him for a moment, thoughtful. “So...We’re in the library?”
Rowen shook his head. “Cye? You were in the kitchen and I was on the roof. How the hell did we get from those places to Mia’s library?”
Cye’s sea green eyes widened. “Oh....”
