Jobs and School

Well I’ve started school.  It turns out that I have both of my history classes in the first half of the year.  Together.  Sort of.  Separated by one hour, but with the same teacher.  Kind of funny.  Makes getting to and from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd hours much, much easier.  Kind of fun to have them all right next to each other as well.

I have met up with all my friends from last year again.  It’s strange to see so many of them in my classes again.  Back at P-CEP one could not expect such a thing unless one was delusional.  Or some such other reasoning.

My job is going extremely well.  Two paychecks now.  I’m beginning to feel filthy rich, even though I’m no where close.  It’s just nice, I guess, to know I’m making my own money.  Of course, this severely limits my traveling adventures on the weekends now.  I have 8 hours of work on Saturdays.  Almost makes me wish I’d take Friday instead.  But I get a huge paycheck.  So it’s all good in the end.

While I was at work, my parents went and bought the stuff I needed for school.  I’m so glad!  I always hate going school shopping.  It irritates me.  Not particularly fond of getting up so early in the morning for education either.  But what can one do? Not much if I don’t want to fail.  Actually, there’s nothing I can do but live with it.  The only consolation is that I have merely two years left until I’m free of such a constricting schedule for a bit.  Although College shall be even worse.

I really am not looking forward to growing up.  I hate it.  Sometimes I wish I were Peter Pan.  The boy who will never grow up.  He has life so easy!  I’m jealous.  But my life isn’t all bad.  With new responsibilities, comes new privileges and knowledge I’d never have known as a child.  Or, I would have known, but not understood.  So it’s all good.

Besides, what kind of a life is it to stay the same age forever. You almost have to pity the characters in books their misfortune.  Well, this is a late night post and I may even be posting under my father’s name.  But I’ve got it done. Hurrah!  And the blogs are up too!
