Late

It is really late at night.  I’m in Otisville at this time.  The grandparents are downstairs talking.  I’m in the Computer Room upstairs with Dakota commenting about the fan behind me.  Jasmine is in the room I’m sharing with her for the week.

So, it’s hot.  Oh yes, it’s very hot!  So hot we had to turn on the sprinkler that Aunt Deb sent up with Jazz and Dakota and run through it.  Then the three of us decided to try and make a natural water slide.  That didn’t work so we asked Gram and Grandpa if they had an extra tarp.  They did. So, we borrowed that and made a homemade water slide.  It was great except for the fact that everytime I went down, I not only cut up my legs on the grass, but I also made a painful landing in the gravel driveway.  After a time, I gave up sliding and just sat at the top with the water, spraying the others and myself to keep us all cool and making sure the slide was in working order.  It was a lot of fun!

By the way Mom, if you’re reading this.  I recently checked out your blog.  I haven’t commented, but I think you may have a point in that communication may be easier by checking out one another’s blogs.

I’m not too sure that I’m excited to be going camping next week as it’s going to be hotter than Hell (Or so I’d like to believe).  Have I mentioned that my cousin, Dakota, is a weirdo?  Oh yes, he truly is.  It’s kinda scary just how freaky he is.  It’s amusing, really.

I will see about getting the second chapter of Precious Treasure up sometime this week as I have it on FF.net for easy reach.  I’ll just copy and paste.  I’m trying really hard to keep up with posting, but I will have to stop for an entire week (My god, however will my nonexistent readers stand it?).  I almost can’t wait ‘till school starts as I will have news to blog about everyday.  Almost.

This summer has proved itself to be a very hot one.  But I don’t care for that right now, my thoughts still rest with the book New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, which is said to be coming out in August.  I don’t know the exact date, but I’m extremely excited!

Oh, and my hair is teal.  Yes, I finally died it.  Semi-permanent.  It was supposed to be a really dark blue, but it came out a sealike teal.  Very pretty, but somewhat of a disappointment.  Oh well, can’t have everything, eh?  And I do like this color.  It’s very nice.

  1. Teal, eh?  I’m sure it’s quite lovely on you. With your natural hair color being so light you can pretty much dye it any color and it would take.  Unfortunately, my dark hair is more selective. Last Halloween, I colored mine purple for a party. I really liked it - not quite a professional look but it was fun and got a lot of comments.  I haven’t decided what color I’ll do this year - depends on the costume.

  2. Teal, interesting… Who would of thought “Midnight Blue” would turn teal in your hair.  Gram said, very dark (like black) on the phone, lol. She also mentioned you stained the skin on your back a little.  So, did you remember that you have some of the dye removal cream to take it off your skin? Might need someone’s help to reach the spot if it’s on you back though, lol.

Can’t wait to see the hair!
