Digimon Season 5

For a while now, I’ve been getting online and heading for Google.  Once there, I would search for info on Digimon Season 5.  There’re a lot of rumors flying around about it.  It’s annoyingly hard to pry facts from the rumors.  I’ve seen one or two things more than once, but I’m still not sure if those are hardcore facts or not.  There are a lot of forums debating over the facts of Digimon.  Quite a few people seem to think that there will be no continuation.  Their comments are beat down by just about everyone else’s.

According to more than one person, Sabban has been ruining Digimon, making its content more for younger kids.  A lot of fans say that Sabban thinks anime is only for younger children.  According to some of those same people, Disney has bought the rights to dub Digimon in the U.S., it is said that they will not cut down on all of the language.  I’m not so sure about that one. Although, I think it is true that Disney has bought the rights for Digimon, because Digimon’s old seasons have been appearing on something called Jetix, it’s supposed to be Disney’s Toonami, although the only thing that fans like myself watch on Jetix, is Digimon...Some might also watch Beyblade.

I’ve read about three distinguished characters, Kouta (The new goggle-boy), Shinji (The new evil boy, he’s similar to Ken in some respects, in my mind at least...), and Yuuji.

There are two main storylines flying around, I don’t quite remember them, but if you look up Digimon Season 5 Info on Google, you’ll be sure to find plenty.  Most have been saying that Season 5 is either a Prequel or a Sequel to one of the previous series. It might, but there are no facts that it is.

To tell the truth, 02 didn’t leave that much open and unanswered for there to be a sequel.  Tamers has quite a lot of room for a sequel.  And Frontier, well...It ended by answering all the questions.  So Season 5 could be a sequel to 02 (I doubt it), or Tamers.  It could have its own storyline and plot.  Or, it could be a prequel, most likely to Frontier, because Frontier’s characters didn’t have Digimon partners, and they didn’t totally cross that bridge in Tamers.

But, from the looks of it, it will probably have its own storyline, world, plot and history.  I get the feeling Tamers’ fans are gonna be bummed about that.  Well, I got to go, I’m still at Gram’s, and I do need my sleep!  So, I’ll rattle on about Digimon later.
