Whoa

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Yeah…That’s a lot like what it’s like right now.  Tomorrow I have to perform a skit in front of 100 or + students.  It’s a skit about the 1950s and we have to take one of the shows from back then like “I Love Lucy!“ or “Leave it to Beaver” or “Father Knows Best” or whatever…And we have to make up a “Lost Episode” .  Like, the subject of my skit is Women…So we’re doing “I Love Lucy!“ Episode 913 “Leave it to Roger”.  Candace (as Beverly) is going to be Vince’s (as Roger) mom, she’s also going to be the depressed housewife.  I’m to be Annie Johnson (I came up with the name myself, lol) and I’m rebellious, because I’m angry that women aren’t thought of as equal to men and that many people won’t hire women.  Melissa is to be Lucy, we kinda changed Lucy a little, so she’s is the “Perfect” Housewife.

The best part about being Annie, is that she blows up at Lucy at one point when they’re talking.  The skit is basically about the three women sitting around a table talking about life in general, and Roger will be coming home and mentioning the “Duck and Cover” Drill.  We kinda twined several topics into one skit…But, of the skits I’ve read (and mentally corrected/criticized) I think ours is the most level, except when Annie blows up and slams her hands onto the table….

We had fun today in class, too much fun.  We were practicing and I fell into the habit of making Annie’s anger more prominent by slamming my hands on the table when she blew up, and we realized we needed to have Roger pop up a few more times, because he only had two lines.  So, we had him walk in when Annie blew up and slammed her hands onto the table, so now I have to slam my hands onto the table really hard so that Vince will hear me out in the hall.  It was REALLY funny though, ‘cause the first time we tried it, I saw Vince staring at me out of the corner of my eye and I started cracking up.

It’s gonna be really hard keeping a straight face tomorrow.  We’re the 21st group that’s to go up….I’m already nervous!!!!!

It’s been kinda hectic since I got home, I’ve been running around trying to find ‘50s-looking clothes in my wardrobe.  NOT easy.  But I finally settled on something.  Mrs. C also said we had to wear makeup like THEY did, so I now have to go out with my mom to buy some 50s Lipstick LOL!!!  Well, I gotta go lipstick shopping (Ugh!), and I’m very afraid of what tomorrow will bring, after Lunch (EVERYONE had A LUNCH TOMORROW!!  Well, not EVERYONE persay, but everyone who has Mrs. C or Gatzke, Avery too) we will be running around like rabbits trying to do makeup and find props and PANICKING!!!!!  The HORROR!!!  My fellow female groupmates said they’d help me with the makeup part, THANK GOD!!!!
